Elderly Care Projects for FY 2024
Milk Drive
There is a need for 1500 liters of milk.
Research indicates that the elders do not have
milk for their cereal, tea, etc.
Milk is critical for calcium absorption. It can not be substituted by any other.
Celebrating easter with the elders
In honor of month of the Easter month. We carried out Easter parties for our old age homes, accompanied by detergents to keep up keep of the homes and ensure good hygiene for a healthy living for the Elders.
It is surprising at how much joy and excitement we see on the faces of the elders when they get to be celebrated. Easter is such an auspicious time.
Our Requirements
(Easter eggs, hot cross buns, treats & detergents)
Winter Blanket
Winter is increasingly becoming more and more cold. And for the elderly their skin is more fragile to the cold. We were able to get blankets to our old age home with the aid of a sponsor that came on board with us to fight the cold on behalf of the elders. We were able to raise 300 blankets for the elderly.
Warm Shoes
“Blessings lay at the feet of the elders” Its crucial for us to do our utmost best to take care of our elders. Warm shoes are very important to them not only to keep them warm but the comfort that they bring to them due to their feet being swollen most times. These shoes give them warmth and ease to wear.
Lunch Drive
We came back to do our lunch time feeding supplies for our elders. This is to make sure that they have the supplies the homes will need to sustain them during the day.
Christmas Party
Its was the season to be Merry and spread some joyful love to our homes. This is always a precious time for us because most of the elders do not get the opportunity to be shown love and appreciated in this season because most of them don’t have family to be with during a time when families come together.
